Hey Y’all!
Hope everyone has been having a great week so far. Aaron and I have been busy bees remodeling our living room. I will have a post on that later when everything is finished, but in the meanwhile I have a nice outfit combo for a wintry day. I am itching to be in shorts and cute dresses with April approaching. TIRED of the winter! Oh well, at least I am embracing it by trying to dress up daily. Winter clothes are quite fashionable. So this outfit came after some inspiration browsing through pinterest (my weakness!) on the Women’s Fashion page. I am always looking for ways to use staple items with new updated pieces.
I got this leopard print wool hat from Victoria’s Secret and it is not sold anymore, but you can find similar styles on Amazon and eBay. This was a perfect accessory for a snowy day here in Ohio. My skinny jeans are the Mia from Express and fit amazing! I am tall, 5’8”, and they are plenty long. There is a special on Express.com for buy one get one $29.90. My black and white striped shirt is from Victoria’s Secret. It is low-cut in the back and is a slim fit. It is on sale right now online for $27.50. My boots are from a Belk’s in Nashville. They are Rampage wedge boots and super comfortable! These were a Black Friday deal last November that I scored for around $20.
I dressed the outfit up with a faux fur black vest from Hautelook.com (you can catch great deals on their site from time to time) and my black, wool pea coat from Express. As you can see, the jeans, striped shirt, boots, and black pea coat are staples in most closets. Even if you did a solid colored shirt, the outfit would be very achievable. The necklace I have on is a black bubble necklace and sold at most boutiques and Charming Charlie’s – mine is from Entourage in Athens, Georgia. My black faux ostrich handbag is from Bebe.
Bebe is one of my favorite places to shop, their items are edgy, fun, and trendy. You can always find great maxi dresses, button down shirts, jeans, jackets, blazers, and shoes. I love the one at Polaris, the sales people are awesome and we are on a first name basis 😉 Aaron can vouch for that, and for the MEN they have a nice little couch outside of the dressing room you can sit on and play on Facebook while your lady shops!
