God’s Not Dead Movie Review

Hey Y’all!

So this past Wednesday night, Aaron and I got to join the youth group to go see “God’s Not Dead.” It was wonderful to walk into a packed theater to support this film.

The movie was based on forty real lawsuits against the first amendment that are listed at the end. The movie portrays a college freshman that must argue against his atheist philosophy professor that God is NOT dead. It shows that faith is truly present everywhere in life. At the end of the movie, numerous colleges and universities were listed that had rulings over the ability to exercise religious freedom. It was great to see how many schools had students that were willing to stand up for their beliefs and show that God is not dead.

Willie and Korie Robertson also make a guest appearance and the dialogue between them and a non-believer just made me smile.

This movie is AWESOME. It will definitely be one that we will own on dvd once it becomes available. It will make you leave the theater with a smile on your face and a feeling of knowing how great it is to serve a merciful and loving God. It also made me eager to see the Newsboys again in concert 🙂

Everyone should go see this encouraging movie and spread the Gospel!! Take a friend or a family member too. You will be thankful that you did.

Aaron and I both spoke about how thankful we are to see so many Christian movies coming out. GOD is very much alive in many people’s hearts. Heaven is for Real is next on our list – opens Easter day!
