Hey Y’all! Sorry it’s taken me so long to blog! Summertime is by far my favorite season and after living in Ohio for two and a half years, I have learned to really relish and enjoy the sunshine. It does not stay warm enough very long up here.
Ok, so let me start out by saying I love fashion. I love fringe, sequins, and country music. My outfit for the Aldean concert definitely let me play up my favorite things. I rocked a Johnny Cash tank top, faux leather shorts, red fringe boots, a cropped sequin blazer, and some fun jewels. I recently found many awesome things on the Country Outfitters website. I also get lots of fun rock tees from the Buckle and Forever 21. There are so many fun ways to wear this kind of stuff, from shorts with wedges, to skinny jeans and flats. You can play it up and make it dressy or rocker chic or down play it for everyday coolness.
I adore Miranda Lambert – its something about platinum! I love her new cd, my hubby can attest to that and whenever I have girlfriends in town (Miss Erica Turner) we JAM OUT to her. Aaron can probably sing most of her songs as well from just hearing us belt them out on regular occasion. Jason Aldean rocked it out and his new song ‘Burn It Down’ is awesome. This was the first time that we got to see Jason Aldean in concert since Aaron and I’s very first date (so it was special!) and whenever I hear ‘Fly Over States’ I can’t help but think about Oklahoma living and the start of our relationship. It is crazy how much a song can bring back a flood of memories. Needless to say we had a great time and enjoyed hanging out with good friends before hand. Long live country music!
