Hey Y’all!
I apologize for being so sporadic the last couple of months, but I am finally ready to tell my blog world and followers that I have finally launched my Christian based online clothing boutique, Soul Revival. We pay it forward by giving 10% back of every single sale to various missions. I wanted to offer unique and trendy items, which were also affordable. I founded our company’s slogan as: “Faith Focused & Fashion Forward” and I want to convey that in every detail of product, site, and social media.
It has been a long and tedious process, but I am so thankful to say it was worth every moment, sacrifice, and shed tear (mostly happy ones!). God put this dream in my heart a couple of years ago and originally I wanted a brick and mortar location (which may happen one day!). But, Being where we are, my husband and I just decided that wasn’t feasible without enough foot traffic in the area. The next best thing was to launch it online and be able to sell nationwide from Ohio, Georgia, to Texas, and California.
I know that God has a plan and it couldn’t be truer to say that everything happens for a reason. Looking back, I could never imagine myself to be the woman or Christ follower that I am without those hardships that I have been through. On the same token, I also wouldn’t love fashion this much and making people feel and look their best as well. From living in the deep south as a bonafide “Southern Belle” to cowgirling it up in the wild west, my fashion choices and trends that I love were cultivated by my surroundings. I love to mix fringe, sequins, suede, and leather (and y’all don’t get me started on my cowboy boots!).
I am beyond blessed and ecstatic to watch my company grow and see how God uses it to bless and serve others. You only have one life to live, and I am all about following God’s calling on your life. My favorite verse has always been Jeremiah 29:11-13 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
That is some powerful and life changing stuff, and I know it has changed mine.
