Fall Tablescape

Fall is my favorite and decorating table scapes may be my next favorite. For this season, I knew I wanted to use neutrals – black and white pieces and pops of aged brass. To give a spooky element I added an assortment of ravens that perched on candlesticks and books. The Glass Cloches gave a eerie vibe. And I love the gilded brass look of napkin rings and candlesticks. I used an antique scale in the middle for height and uniqueness. It’s been fun to use antique pieces mixed with new items to give a one of a kind look.

I always set my table by layering with a dinner plate, dessert plate, and a napkin with a vintage napkin ring gives a polished look. We do eat dinner together as a family at the table, so I just remove the place settings when needed.

I hope this gives you some inspiration and now I’m looking forward to decorating our table for Thanksgiving.
