I can’t believe it’s already the 8th of December! We’ve been doing Elf on the Shelf for three years now and it’s always a fun (and sometimes mischievous) holiday tradition. Each December, our Elf makes a grand entrance and brings along a bucket full of goodies and treats.
I like to include a couple ornament crafts to do for the month, diy reindeer mask, sweet treats, light up Christmas necklaces, and a Santa hat. All of the goodies including the bucket came from Dollar Tree! You don’t have to spend a fortune to do something fun and easy.
I used a snowflake garland draped from the island lights and hand made single snowflakes and used them as a trail on the floor. Buddy the Elf “came in like a wrecking ball” and was perched on the middle island globe light. Whether you love or loathe the Elf adventures, our family has grown to love them and it truly makes my heart burst to see how excited our boys our each day to see what Buddy does next!
