It’s officially fall y’all!!
I love this time of season: cooler weather, football, hunting, bonfires, and of course BOOTS. I wanted to give everyone a glimpse into the hottest trends for fall/winter. The greatest part of all is that most of these may already be staples in your closet. The top picks for fall are:
- PLAIDS. Pull out your flannel or plaid button downs. Plaid skirts and scarves. You cannot go wrong with this classy print (in moderation). I would pick one piece and work with solids from there.
- CHUNKY KNITS. Knit sweaters are making a splash, paired over dresses and skirts, over your plaid shirts, and with skinny jeans or leggings. Sweaters are a staple in most everyone’s closet – the key is to layer them this year.
- BOOTIES. Short boots are all the rage this season. You can look chic in jeans to dresses.
- BURGUNDY, NAVY BLUE, OLIVE GREEN, & MUSTARD YELLOW. These colors are EVERYWHERE. They look great on most skin tones and are popping up allover the place from tops, to jeggings, coats, hats, handbags, and jewelry.
- HATS. I adore a great hat. Its great for covering those bad hair days, rainy days, and for when I need to get my hair colored days (LOL – which is about now). It is a fun way to accessorize any outfit.
