So I first heard of this clothing line when I went on a mission trip to Nicaragua. A good friend of mine, Jae, was wearing awesome shirts with biblical sayings and scripture. I have never seen shirts like this and looked up this website as soon as I got home.
The Who, What, and Why: JCLU stands for Jesus Christ Loves U. It was created by three girls who love Jesus for girls who love Jesus. I love what they stand for – and the shirts are comfortable, fit true to size (I wear a M & Aaron an XL,) and have an encouraging meaning behind them. I ordered a couple for Aaron and myself as well. He picked out a BELIEVER shirt while I ordered a blue sweat shirt, GOD CAN, and a white off the shoulder top, Proverbs 31:25.
If wearing a shirt with a verse and positive quote can help reach out to someone that’s lost or to someone that wants to know more about who Jesus is or the Bible, then I am all for it. It is a great conversation starter and something that the youth of America have really taken a liking to. JCLU has over 2 million likes on Facebook. Take that Satan!
