Hey y’all!
One of my favorite places to decorate for the season is our little side porch. This is the place where all of our guests come inside (our front door is rarely used), so I like to make it special and welcoming. This season, I used several wooden crates (I collect these whenever I find them because they have so many uses!) stacked on one another for height. Metal bins and baskets are also great to sit trees in. I also love using vintage Coke crates. Because of the pretty red color, you can use them for a variety of holidays.
Then, I added Christmas trees to each side and some red beaded garland. Towards the back, I used a vintage blow mold Santa on top of an antique nail keg. Blow molds are making a popular comeback and I’ve had this Santa for several years. Check antique stores, flea markets, hardware stores, Facebook marketplace, and eBay to find one.
To finish off the porch I used layered jute rugs (I use these for most seasons!) and a fresh Frasier Fir wreath. To see a quick overview of my porch details watch here: https://www.tiktok.com/@brookebcarmean/video/7175327037614214443?is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1
If you live in an apartment or have a smaller porch, don’t look over this area to give a pretty holiday scene and impact. Let me know below if you enjoy decorating your porch for the Christmas season!
